Our August Milestones
🎒 August 4
We kicked off
the month by teaming up with United Way to give out 48 brand new backpacks in
total, with 24 coming from United Way to distribute to local students in need.
📦 August 10 – August 21
Over the
course of two weeks, our team hand-delivered these backpacks to community members,
ensuring local kids head back to school with confidence and proper supplies.
🎓 August 11
We hosted
college consultations! We had the privilege of guiding college-bound individuals
through scholarship applications, sharing resources, and discussing crucial steps
to guarantee a successful higher education journey.
📰 August 13
We officially
launched our community newsletter to help keep everyone connected, informed, and
involved with our ongoing efforts. Read one of the thanks received when we began
reaching out below!
✉️ August 20
We deployed our
Adelante emails directly to 402
local Rochester recipients. We are tracking signups and built excitement before we
officially opened up promotions on social media.
📍 August 31
A monumental
milestone! We officially moved all of our physical items and operations out of
Bear Creek Church (Thank you for having us!). We are now 100% moved in and
operational at our new headquarters:
1700 N Broadway!
